Paradise Women Crowned Super Cup Champions After Narrow Final Win

Paradise Women FC added another major honour to their growing trophy cabinet after defeating Weymouth Wales Women 1–0 to capture the inaugural BFA Women’s Super Cup at the Wildey Turf.

The tightly contested final was decided by a single moment of quality in the 27th minute when defender Shanelle Als rose to meet a well-delivered set piece and powered a header past goalkeeper Kamiliah Burkes.

The goal proved decisive in a match where both teams battled fiercely for control of midfield. Wales nearly found an equaliser earlier when Ashanee Thompson unleashed a powerful effort that struck the crossbar, but Paradise maintained their composure to protect their lead.
